The ninth annual event to benefit disadvantaged children within 50 miles of Malibu is supported by many Malibu businesses, including Geoffrey’s Restaurant, D’Amores Pizzeria, Tra di Noi, Marmalade Café, European Shoe and PC Greens, and the Miss Malibu Pageant. Companies including Jakks Pacific, Bentley Beverly Hills and high-end property company Engel & Voelkers will also have tables at the event.
“Safety Harbor Kids is Malibu’s baby, conceived by a local parentless child at age 16 on Pt. Dume” said Petrie Alexandra Williams, the organization’s president. “Safety Harbor Kids was literally started by a parentless child who grew up in Malibu. We have helped thousands of children learn music and art and we could never have done it without the support of the local business community of Malibu.”
Founded in 2007, Safety Harbor Kids is a 501c3 nonprofit formed for the purpose of enriching the lives of parentless and homeless children through education in the areas of college, career, the arts and personal growth.
